II. The hope of His appearance at His coming. (1 John 2:28-3:3)
A. We have confidence.

1. We are liars, if we say we have fellowship with God.

3. We make God a liar, if we say we have no sin.
4. The Word is not in us.
5. We are liars, if we hate our brother & say we walk in the Light.
6. We don’t know where we are going.
7. We are blind.
* 2 Timothy 3:1-7—Those who live without love of others may have a form of godliness (Religion), but they deny the power of God’s love in their life.
* Matt. 7: 21-23—Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord will enter the kingdom.
* 1 Cor. 13: 1-3—You can call Him God and do all the right things and say all the right things, but if you do not have Love (God) in your heart, then He is not your real Lord and it doesn’t do you any good.
